In March 2021 Rupert Fenby (LH 15) will be setting off from Las Galletas, Canary Islands, along with a crew of 11 others, as they attempt to row across the Atlantic Ocean to Falmouth Harbour, Antigua.
Their boat ‘ROXY’ is Rannoch Adventure's brand new, flagship, 12-person boat. At 11.8m long, she has 8 rowing berths and two cabins to accommodate the crew.
Rupert is raising money for the incredibly worthy cause ‘Candlelighters' which helps fund research and support families of children fighting cancer.
He acknowledges this will be a big challenge, both mentally and physically, but says “any support received will be hugely appreciated, especially when I'm in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, facing huge waves, blistered hands and all that the ocean can throw at me, knowing I'm doing this to raise money for Candlelighters will keep me rowing”
