The Committee has an advisory role. Its remit is to:
- contribute to the objectives of the OU Association by offering ideas, support and observations regarding operations and activities
- serve as advocates for the OU Association’s operations, including events and professional networking activities
- encourage OUs to make the most of the opportunities available to them through the OU Association
- from time to time, where deemed appropriate and if there are sufficient funds, consider and make grants to the School
An annual meeting of the Committee shall be held at Uppingham. Further meetings may be arranged by the OU team as required. The Committee will approve the Annual Accounts at its AGM, usually held on the third Saturday in January (scheduled for Saturday 18th January 2025). The accounts are maintained by the OU team and independently verified by the School’s Finance Department.
