Classic Car Meet
We are delighted to confirm that plans are underway for a get together at the School on Sunday 21st April, to coincide with the Stilton Cheese Run, which starts in the town.
Richard Boston (B 56) looks forward to welcoming fellow enthusiasts and hopes you will be able to attend this informal get together. All OUs are welcome, whether bringing a vehicle or as admiring spectators, please book in via the form below either way. Thank you.
Event Details:
The timings below incorporate an opportunity to attend the School's morning Chapel Service, however, a later arrival is also an option, especially for those coming from further afield.
- 9.15am to 9.45am: Arrival
- 10.00am to 11.00am: Borth Service, Uppingham Chapel
- (10.15am to 10.45am: Suggested arrival if not attending Chapel)
- 11.00am: Teas/coffees light refreshments provided
- 12.00pm: Drive to New Lodge Farm in Bulwick (around 7 miles from Uppingham, via Seaton, Harringworth and Laxton) to view collection of vehicles participating in the Stilton Cheese Run. (Refreshments/hog roast etc will be available to purchase there).
Important note: As the School is in session, there will be strict restrictions on vehicles entering the School Quads before and after Chapel, hence suggested arrival slots provided.
We would be pleased to also offer a tour of the School for visitors, which can be fitted around the schedule above.
The event is FREE to attend, however please register your place via the booking form below, by Friday 22nd March at the latest, so we can gauge numbers and organise parking and catering. Thank you.
